The Company
Little Jade Productions creates fantastic genre stories for audiences with talented emerging creatives. We love elevated genre stories with a strong female focus, that explore our shared human experience. We want to impact, educate and inspire audiences. We want to support ethnically diverse talent on and off camera.
Created in 2008 by Producer Jade Alexander whose strong background in new media, commercials and games helps us stretch the boundaries of imagination, and storytelling. LJP is a boutique film and game production company.
In 2020 LJP produced ground-breaking interactive sci-fi game The Complex 2020, and then the feature film The Complex: Lockdown. Written by Lynn Renee Maxcy (The Handmaid’s Tale), with Director Paul Raschid (5 Dates, The Gallery), and an outstanding ensemble of talent including Kate Dickie (Game of Thrones, The Witch), Michelle Mylett (Letterkenny), Oscar nominated designer Guy Thompson (Black Sheep), and composer Dan Teicher (Justice League). Won Best SFX and Best Sound at British Film Festival and accepted at Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFFF).
The Complex was released during lockdown 2020, with a Twitch live stream premiere by gamer Leah Viathan (Xbox presenter) and watched live by over 11,000 viewers. Sales in the first week outperformed other interactive games and the project went into profits in 2 years. It is still one of the top performing interactive films and has amassed 51.1 million Twitch views. Available on PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, Xbox and Steam (PC/Mac). The film is available on Apple TV, Hulu, Sky, Amazon, and iTunes.
Previous feature film, After Death (2012), won Best Film at the Bram Stoker Awards, and Best of the Fest at Raindance Film Festival.
Based on the financial success of The Complex interactive film, LJP has been developing more interactive projects to cater to the needs of a growing games audience around the world. We are collaborating with various international partners to bring these stories to life.
And from incorporation till now the company has been active in games and new media commercials work through Jade Alexander, including Associate Producer of interactive game Nightbook by Goodgate Media, working on Call of Duty as additional content Producer, working on the video game N.E.R.O (Nothing Ever Remains Obscure) for Storm in a Teacup & Playstation, other new media work such as a 4D Experience with Merlin Entertainment, VR work with Samsung and United Nations, and finally 3D projections with Samsung and Unit9.
Little Jade Productions has a further slate of films and games in development including psychological sci-fi feature film Outer Edges, with director Kelsey Egan (Glasshouse 2021, The Fix 2023, winner of 6 SAFTAs) and Spier Films. As well as a slate of interactive game projects including The Dead Canary with Caspian Films set in Wales, The Junket an Australian Co-Production interactive and Outer Edges the interactive game with South African partners.

Jade Alexander - Producer
Founded by producer Jade Alexander who loves finding new ways to bring the audience into the story. From creating the immersive sensory experience ‘Black Out’ for ASICS to the world’s first live-action interactive sci-fi film THE COMPLEX, she thrives on creative and technical challenges that disrupt the everyday.
Her career has taken her to the skies and the seas, shooting 3D aerial and underwater filming in Australia (Sydney Centrepoint Tower), creating 4D installations and producing 3D projections for Samsung. A producer who’s technically advanced, detail-oriented and playful in her storytelling. "I love challenging audiences using storytelling, to help them see another point of view in the world around them".

Jade produced various sci-fi short films, as well as the viral video, Doritos: A Cheesy Love story about the dangers of palm oil – generating over 6 million views and an official response from PepsiCo.
Jade is a BAFTA Connect member and supporter of the Film and Television Charity.
Having pioneered interactive film, she hopes to share that expand this with other projects. She is very excited by the possibilities that interactive and immersive films can bring to audiences.
